GINGER & SMART, WESTFIELD SYDNEY Ginger & Smart’s new Westfield store is a collection of deliberate and curated objects that combine to form a background to the intense colours and signature prints of the Ginger & Smart. A sense of discovery is created through a series of simple and enigmatic objects placed throughout the store. Collaborating with Alexandra and Genevieve Smart, texture and detail were overlayed to form a narrative that reflects the identity of the Ginger & Smart brand.The space is designed with the feel of an installation piece; intruiging, ephemeral and not overdone. The store is very much a work in progress, something that will transform over time, layering imagery, art and sound.
